The Day I Had the Flu

Being sick ruins everything. I feel like crap and can't do anything. I have to cancel everything and then feel like crap for having to do so. My head hurts, my neck hurts, my ears hurt, and my whole body aches. Also, I am hot then cold, constantly. Today I woke up sweating, then a few minutes later I was piling on all the sweatshirts I could. It's pretty disgusting. I think I have a fever, but I can't tell because the only thermometer we have measures in celsius. The only advantage to being sick is that you have an excuse to watch movies instead of doing homework. For some strange reason, all I wanted to do was watch The Golden Compass. Unfortunately, I am too sick to drive and no one I know has that movie, and itunes won't let you rent it. So lame. So, I settled for Get Smart and Under the Tuscan Sun. Sometimes I wish I could do what Frances did...just buy a house in Tuscany and never turn back. It seems like a fantastic way to live. Unfortunately, I can't even afford to buy milk, much less a house in a foreign country. But still, I can always wish.
