Anyone who works in a restaurant will agree that this is one job where you will meet the weirdest people ever. Working in a restaurant in LA brings in the weirdest of the weirdos, so I wasn't at all phased when a homeless man (or transient, which I guess is the nice word.) walked in and asked for some matches...as many as I could spare. So, I gave him a handful and expected him to be on his way. But, he was so touched by my "kindness" that he decided to thank me by telling me all about his gall bladder surgery and the nurse who lived with him and made his bed for him every day. He then told me I was very beautiful and kind and I could come home with him anytime I wanted to and make his bed. Meanwhile, there's a line of people at the door who need attention, but how do you politely tell this nice man who just opened up his home to you to kindly f*@! off??
Oh Lacey, you are sweet, you should have told him you would make his bed every day and then you would have 4 jobs!
